Romney Victory Likely
The poll results are changing. If the election were held today, Romney would win by a few dozen electoral votes. The swing states are currently favoring him.
In 2000 Bush got the boost to win the election by winning Florida, a swing state. His margin of victory in Florida was just 327 votes.
Every vote matters. This thing is just about tied. Please vote, and please make sure your friends do too.
Romney would absolutely be devastating for this country. We’ve made plenty of progress, and he wants to destroy it. Four years is a hell of a long time, but his policy decisions would affect us for decades. Also up for grabs as the likely opportunity to appoint a replacement justice to the Supreme Court. This is how Roe v Wade could get overturned.
I know you are likely to vote. But please do everything you can to get your friends voting too. Voter turnout among democrats is crucial. If 327 more people had voted for Gore in Florida in 2000, Bush would have never happened. Please, PLEASE don’t let Romney happen.
